From CentsCity to Skill-Life

Skill-Life, Inc. began as CentsCity, LLC in January 2007 with the goal of building financially healthy youth and communities.  Our seed funding came from the social venture fund Echoing Green in September 2007.  Since that time, we have gained support from the Innovation Works Alpha Lab, Technology Collaborative, Grable Foundation, Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, Idea Foundry, and several private investors.  Our initial vision of employing online gaming to teach financial skills has evolved into a more interactive, game-based, and comprehensive resource for awarding incentives and building life skills.

We are currently preparing to launch the Beta version of our CentsCity product in July 2009.
